Love is a symbol of eternity. It wipes out all sense of time, destroying all memory of a beginning and all fear of an end. ~Author Unknown
I thought this was a great quote that I stumbled upon, especially the first sentence. It made me think about love a little more. There are many symbolisms throughout the gospel and so this makes sense to me. When I think about love, it really is a symbol of eternity and truely is what eternity is all about. We cannot know eternity unless we know love. The gospel is all about love. The Plan of Salvation is all about love. The Atonement is all about love. Service is all about love. Sharing the gospel is all about love. Families are all about love. So to understand eternity we must understand what love is and how it works. The Savior is of course the perfect example and as we get to know Him better He will help us understand love.Being married to you has taught me what true love is. Having the gospel in our lives and the promptings of the Spirit has helped teach me further. As I have said many times before, I thought I knew what love was when we were married but each new day has brought new experiences that have furthered my understanding. It has taught me how love seems to ever grow and that there is no end to it. I welcome each new day that I get to experience love with you because it does draw us closer to understanding eternity. I know there is no end to our love and am grateful that we are sealed for eternity. Thank you for saying YES so many years ago. I truely am blest to have a special companion like you. I love you with all my heart!!!
