Fulfilling Motherhood

I love that motherhood is so important to you. As I was reading a talk by Elder Nelson, I came across this quote that made me think about you and all that you do for our children but also what you do for all the children you meet. You make them feel love and encouragement. Here is the quote:

"Nurturing the young, comforting the frightened, protecting the vulnerable, teaching and giving encouragement need not—and should not—be limited to our own children."

I am grateful for the example you are to our children and to those you teach and serve at school and at church. You really do fulfill this. Whenever we go out and come across children you know, they come up and give you hugs or can't wait to say hi or can't wait to introduce you to their parents. It always makes me smile. Yesterday as you came out of your long meeting, two girls came up to say hi and give you a hug. You took the time to do so and made them feel happy and loved. It made me smile. I am truely blest to be married to a woman that truely understands what motherhood is all about. That it goes beyond their own children. Thank you for the example you are to me. I love you with all my heart.
